“Finding a high quality print of the cover of Anthem of the Sun has been my holy Grail Of Grateful Dead imagery. Ten years ago, I discovered that such a print existed, but was unable to locate one. Years went by and my search for Bill Walker and the Anthem print continued. Finally, I found Bill had created a website and reached out to him by email. However, I got no response. Undaunted, I continued to email him for 5 years. Then, last January I checked my email and my jaw dropped — I had a message from Bill! I immediately phoned him and we talked for hours about the history of the print and his relationship with the Grateful Dead and life in that magical time.

Last year, I made a pilgrimage out to Las Vegas to meet him. At the end of my delightful encounter with Bill Walker himself, I was able to obtain the last remaining 187 copies of the limited-production, signed and numbered edition of Anthem! The prints are truly magnificent – printed on archival paper, with brilliant colors and precise detail.
